Mas Stig-Nielsen Criminal Defense Attorneys is a 100% family-owned and operated business. We met and married while attending Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon. Since 2013 we have lived and worked in Benzie County. When we are not aggressively defending our clients’ rights, we are chasing after our two wonderful children Francisca and Carlos.
Mary Elizabeth (Betsy) Mas
Betsy’s passion is the outdoors. She is happiest when she is running, hiking, biking or sitting in the sunshine. She considers herself incredibly lucky to live and work in such a beautiful location. She and Frederik have traveled the world and will continue to do so with two kids in tow.
Frederik Stig-Nielsen
Frederik’s ancestors were Vikings. He spends his free time adventuring with his family and cooking in the wild. Frederik is an unaccomplished sawyer and avid runner. Whether indoors or out, he spends countless hours learning Dickey Betts, Duane Allman, and Carlos Santana licks on his American-made guitars.
